– Diesel vehicles are compatible from 2008 and after
2. Make sure you have a compatible device.

Once you have checked these items, you are ready to get connected! Just watch the video below and follow the steps!
Step 1: Download the free FIXD app for iOS and Android on your phone.
Step 2: Turn Bluetooth on. NOTE: Do not pair with the sensor in the Bluetooth settings. Pairing with the sensor will happen automatically within the FIXD app. Simply turn on your Bluetooth through your phone’s settings.
Step 3: Register an account in the FIXD app.
Step 4: Select your repair preference and make sure you enable the maintenance reminders!
Step 5: Select “I have a FIXD sensor”
Step 6: Input the sensor code found on the back of the sensor (ex: CV11111)
Step 7: Turn on your vehicle.
Step 8: While the engine is running, plug your FIXD sensor into the OBD2 port underneath your dash (usually underneath the steering wheel on the driver’s side). You may need to get out of your vehicle to be able to see it. The image below shows the most common locations to find your OBD2 port. Check to see if a blue light flashes on your sensor when you plug it in. The blue light means that the device has power and you will see it flash repeatedly during the scanning process, so if you do not see it, let us know!
Step 9: The app will scan for a nearby sensor. When the sensor is detected in your app, tap “I found it” and enter your vehicle name and VIN.
Your VIN is a 17-digit number that can usually be found on the lower-left corner of your dashboard right in front of the steering wheel, at the front of your engine, inside the driver-side door jamb, or in the rear wheel well.
